Strong spring and OK thickness plastic material so it Can hold upto medium weigh mics fine. The angle for shifting the mic position is limited , due to its design like similar clips. My worry was the mic threads has to be metal and this one has them. Be aware some other vendors are selling similar looking clips they show the the metal reducer , but the clip threads are plastic. those can be damaged easily if you tighten the thread crooked, which is common occurence when putting on a stand.

These are well made and look like they will hold up to wear and tear. Great replacement for all the different size clips that were often either too big or too small for any given microphone we use.

One of my clips sprung on 2nd use. Did get a refund so all is well. Low cost is often hit or miss… one still works great.
