Hi guys! For $ 25 or $ 29 it is unrivaled. Medium diaphragm and frequency opening with a slightly exaggerated reinforcement in bass and treble that give it a warm initial tonality. The presentation of the product is of high quality, box, cables and accessories. It brings a 2-year warranty to register online just by entering the Amazon order number, a marvel! Thanks guys!

The weight is ideal to tie it to any desk arm but I was wondering that it did not include a Foam pop-filter like the one I show in the photo that works excellently [you can buy them here on Amazon for a couple of dollars].

The connection to my Intel NUC worked great and the mike was immediately recognized in Windows 10 64bit [thanks NO Drivers! I love them!! ]

Do not exceed the gain of more than 40% [11 o'clock] or it will begin to decline in signal quality and what is clear will be transformed into distortion and decoupling, be careful, leave it at 40% more or less [not more than half] but boost the signal from the gain of the software you use [OBS, Speachy, Audacity, VSTHost, etc] this will allow you to monitor a clean signal to begin with.

The background noise that it captures in an environment without acoustics, in a room of a common house like any of us is considerable. I would tell you that I don't like the loud noise in the background, but with OBS's 'noise reduction' or Speachy's superb VST and his masterful Denoiser there won't be any remnants of that noise, I promise you. Then add some treble above the 5K-8K and above 18K another as much and do not put the bass that it already has and very good. Invest a couple of hours in a good setup and you will see how good and professional this Mic sounds, sweet and powerful, a real gift for $ 29 [Thanks Fifine and Amazon for this great product]

Mid-range microphones I have had a lot of more than $ 150 to $ 300 and believe me they were not worth them. For example the highly weighted Stella X2 does not sound better than this K669b, does it have less residual noise? it's true ... but in pickup and sound quality it sounds much better than the Stella X2 and many others in the $ 100- $ 300 range. That said, I recommend this great mic to everyone who wants to get great voice quality for the same price as a medium pizza in a neighborhood restaurant. As an amateur user, musician and producer I want to thank you for this great microphone that you have developed ♥

I liked the quality of sound of this mic it doesn't cancel noise that efficiently but with the help of audacity and fl studio u can completely remove the background noise overall it's a good mic in this price range

Easy to set up (manual could do with updating to Win 10/11 but useful enough if you have problems), looks good, feels solid and with the recommended free audio mixing software (none provided) took 20 mins from start to produce a hiss free monologue ready to overlay on a presentation, much better clarity than built in microphone.

Downside is the limited range on the pick up, at about 30 cm optimum, being a little close, although this doesn't detract from it being an affordable entry mic.

Once I started podcasting and narrating my books it didn’t take long to figure out I needed a microphone that was better than the built-in mics in any of my Macs or my iPhone. I asked around and did (very) little research.

A trusted podcaster I know recommended the Blue Yeti but I wasn’t all that enthusiastic about dropping $125 on something that could soon end of collecting dust.

So, I decided on the Fifine K669B. I’m mean, it’s only $29 at Amazon and it’s Prime Eligible so there was very little to lose.

Some of you might know that I worked in high end audio for decades and have reviewed well over a hundred high end products. I’ve also been formally and informally involved of scores of recording sessions from pop to classical. But, I’ve never actually reviewed a microphone. The more I thought about it the more I realized that something really critical to proper audio reviewing was missing.

There’s no reference.

Nearly all of the web and youtube reviews of mics compare one mic to another. I understand this temptation but the "better or worse" game that’s pretty much useless in evaluating playback gear is even more useless in evaluating source gear.

Why? Let’s say it again…there’s no reference.

A given reviewer may like the way his voice sounds on Mic A instead of Mic B but that is no predictor of whether you or anyone else will like the sound of their voice when captured by Mic A. A significant part of mic performance can be evaluated objectively but most reviewers confine their objective comments to features which is fine as far as that goes, but features do not relate directly to quality when you’re talking about audio fidelity.

So, what will say about the Fifine? I will say it’s fine…for me. It uses a fixed cardioid pattern that’s well suited to my simple needs and is truly plug & play (at least on a Mac). Also, the little fellow is nicely put together, seemingly solid, yet not overly heavy. Some will surely complain about the captive USB cable but at least you know that if you remembered to bring the mic you also remembered to bring the cable!

The only adjustment on the mic is for volume and I found the sensitivity to be plenty wide for my needs and is quite smooth in its rotation. The volume knob has a reassuringly heavy feel and is easy to position precisely and consistently. I found set up to be as simple as plugging the mic in and hitting record and I hereby designate the sound quality as just dandy (I know, too many technical terms).

For $29 there’s just nothing for me to complain about.

Lastly, the Fifine Folks appear to be very responsive at least related to their Amazon sales. This is especially impressive for such an inexpensive product and shows that the company understands that early efforts related to customer service will help them build their brand over time.

Well done, Fifine. You’ve done a fantastic job with K669B.

I bought this as my first upgrade but still at a beginner’s level.

What I love: It’s super easy to use. You literally just plug it in and it’s ready to go. It immediately improved my audio quality and therefore also made my editing a lot easier too.
What is just so-so: It is nice is that it does come with its own tripod but it isn’t very pose-able. The mic itself can only be tilted up or down and the tripod can only able to be used in the position shown in the photos. But it sits well and is very sturdy.

I read about this brand in a book by a long time VO and it was the brand he started his career with.

Pink is my favorite color; so this to me is super cute

I can’t wait to try it with a mic stand.

It has a USB plug and play cord and so far that is working well. At this point I’m not sure about the durability but it has a nice solid feel so I’m guessing that it is well built but I will only know that for certain after using it for some time.

So far one week into using it and I am very happy with this purchase. I can see using it for quite a while to get up and going before I’m ready for another upgrade.

For the price point 5 stars.
