Honestly this is not a bad stand, a couple issues standout though, one which made me return it.
1) The threaded end for the mic holder is far smaller than the industry standard and a adapter to accommodate this was not included. So you have to use the included mic holder or try to find an adapter. (Went to guitar center and they were not familiar with that small threaded end and had no adapter.

2) The tablet holder, I have a new iPad in a case and could not use the holder as the jaws are far too small to hold it. Additionally I took the iPad out of its case and it will hold it but it was VERY precarious. I wouldn’t trust it to hold it very long before it drops. The jaws need to be deeper (should be a full 2.5 cm) and need to have a lip on each jaw to ensure the tablet is secure.

You get what you pay for, this mic stand is definitely not for professional or road use. But for me it works just fine in my home studio where it doesn’t get kicked around much. The mic holder is funky and uses rubber bands to hold the mic in place, it has its own treaded mount so a regular mic holder won’t work so you can’t use any other holder... if you’re on a budget and don’t need something heavy duty this might work for you. It’s fine for practicing at home.

So far it seems pretty good. The packaging however came in quite roughed up not sure if that was from Warehouse or shipping. It does what it's supposed to but i haven't yet used the tablet holder.

Wish I could give 2.5 stars - it is a useful lightweight mic stand, but the tablet holder is a bust. I use this for live music to hold a tablet about a foot below the mic so I can sing/play to an audience and glance down at a lead sheet pdf. The gooseneck on the tablet holder is too short to use the tablet under the mic boom. I bought a gooseneck extender which solved that problem, but the ball joint is so weak, the tablet always flops forward. I tried using the tablet on the boom and the mic on the center pole with a gooseneck adapter and managed to sort of make it work. If used exactly as in the picture, it does just ok, but the tablet is between your face and the audience, so its a non starter. Just a tiny bit more thought (slightly longer gooseneck) and a tiny bit better components (ball joint that holds in place) and this would have been a home run. Might be ok for studio use I suppose.

Not good for boom stand, not sturdy enough for band usage that way, however I needed a stand for my iPad. Took off the boom arm, put my iPad in and it’s perfect. Would be great as boom for solo acoustic set

Ok I am a professional musician and I was looking for something to replace a mic stand and a music stand all in one. This design is awesome iPad mount built in to a mic stand that’s just good thinking. Now all the joints are plastic so they are eventually going to become useless. The shock mount it comes with is nice but it would be nicer if the piece it screws on could fit any mic clip. It is very wobbly which isn’t to big a deal for me I’m not jumping around stage and dodging drunks in the bar. Having said all that if they made the same thing out of better materials I would pay $125 for this stand without batting an eye. Sadly it does not exist yet. But for the price of under $30 I really won’t complain and I have decided to keep it. I wish it was better quality because it is a fantastic design however I play at least 4 gigs a week and I know the joint on the boom is going to go out on me within a year ( if not I would welcome being wrong) and the cheap metal and plastic makes it very unstable. A good knock will tip it over and if you have a $1000 iPad on it that’s no good. But I’m using it for acoustic gigs so I’m not feeling the tip over vibe that others may encounter. I hope this company makes a better more sturdy version in the future like I said I would pay a great deal more for a quality execution of this product (hint hint). In the end you get what you pay for and this is a cheap ingenious stand.

I play ukulele in my spare time and, since I can never remember my lyrics/chords, I play along with the Guitar chords app. This two-in-one stand is perfect for people like me. It acts as a normal mic stand, but with the great addition of the iPad (or tablet depending on what you use) holder, it’s good for day to day use. The seller is also nice enough to include a little pop filter, which is quite handy. The only complaint I have with this is that it’s not as sturdy as expected. Sometimes when I flipped the page on my iPad with a heavier hand, it shakes slightly. But for what I payed for, I am more than happy with what I got.
