Considering the low price of this product, and the fact that it didn't receive terrific reviews due to sound problems (i.e. one earbud stops functioning), I wasn't really expecting this product to be as great as it turned out to be. Granted, this comes after 2 days of use, so enough time hasn't passed for me to be able to say that I won't end up a victim of the earbud of death...but overall I am very happy with these earbuds. The sound quality is way above average, the bass and volume are terrific, and the noise reduction is just great. I have actually taken an earbud out several times, thinking I heard another person in the room, because I'm hearing details of sound that I haven't really heard in the familiar shows I've been watching on my computer. I was also rather expecting an issue with my smartphone, considering this is recommended as an Apple-compatible product and I have an Android. Said issue has yet to arise, and my music has an excellent fuller-sounding quality. On top of all this awesomeness, they are actually incredibly comfortable! I've had them in at least one ear for the better part of the 2 days since they were delivered (when I could get them out of my 3 year old son's ears, he loves to use them with his portable DVD player since they have 4 sets of different-sized rubber pieces, and one set is small enough to be comfortable for a small child's ears), and I have not yet developed the buds-in-too-long headache. The mic is not bad, but nothing fantastic. It is in a good place, positioned fairly close to the mouth. One of my favorite things, being the mother of a small destructive child, is that the wire is flat as compared to round- it REALLY resists tangling. It just...doesn't get all wrapped around itself, it's great. The reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5, is that within the first hour of use, the sound flickered out in the left earbud for a few seconds. I was instantly super upset, I have a lot of trouble finding good earbuds that don't give me a headache from prolonged use. Add that to hearing loss from working in a factory, and usually watching a movie or listening to music is a frustrating experience. My laptop, which I normally have to have the volume at 9 out of 10 to hear well, is currently at 1 while I watch Family Guy on Hulu. I really love these headphones for the time being, and I hope that is not a statement I will have to amend. I will update my review if I encounter any issues with these fabulous earbuds...I may have to buy a second pair for my son!

These ear buds arrived in a really nice box with a velour drawstring pouch and spare ear bud tips in a variety of sizes. You can *feel* the quality of the ear buds as soon as you pull them out. The wire feels high quality, substantial and the ear buds themselves feel solid. It's hard to describe the "feel" of quality, but if you've bought cheap ear buds before, you know that hollow and flimsy feel those can have. These are NOT hollow or flimsy. I can tell these ear buds are going to be able to take repeated use and still perform.I am a typical 'medium' sized ear bud tip user but when I used them the first time, I had a problem keeping them in during my workout on the elliptical. Perhaps its the weight of the wire that would drag them out of my ears - I did say the wire felt substantial and I wonder if the weight of the wire didn't allow me to use the 'medium' ear bud tips. When I changed to the large tips, they did stay in.I used the ear buds for a week while working out on the elliptical and the sound quality was great and the flat wire did not tangle. I ultimately stopped using these ear buds and gave them to my 15 year old daughter for two reasons. 1) I always knew I was wearing them. Sounds strange, but with the lighter weight (i.e. cheap) ear buds, I was never aware of wearing them. When i'm wearing ear buds while working out, I don't want to be aware of them all of the time. 2) my daughter is HARD on ear buds, wearing them like a tether to her phone, and I just know she'll get a long use out of these ear buds given the high quality.

I love these ear buds! Here is why:Cord length: I am tall, and usually I can't keep my iPod in my pocket and wrap the cord over the back of my neck when I am not listening because the cord is too short. These are not. They are long and I have plenty of room to move, twist, or turn while wearing them.Comfort: I usually am fine with the big size ear bud gels, but this one was a little tight. So I switched it to the smallest ones and they are comfortable and stay in just fine.Sound Quality: I wont pretend to know a lot of the the quality of sound coming out, but these are clear and I like them. The keep most of the noise around me out and give me a nice sound. I also don't like my music REAL loud, so they may lose quality if really loud, I don't know.Tangle Free: This is maybe my favorite thing about these headphones. I tend to stick my headphones in my pocket and they come out a hot mess. Well, these don't tangle hardly at all. The cord is strong and flat, so it doesn't tangle like most ear buds. I love it.Look: These are about as cool looking as most. They are small, so you pretty much just see the cord and a little of the ear bud. I don't care about this so much.Remote/Speaker: You can't turn up and down the volume, but it is easy to pause and play. I have had a problem with this being hard to do or too easy to do. I don't use the speaker very often.Hope this helps! God bless!!!
