I’ve owned and used many great mics for my recordings, but was never truly satisfied with the final results as much as I’ve been with my M149. It’s a perfect example of, “you get what you pay for”.

I’ve used it mainly for my vocals but have also used it for my acoustic guitar and electric guitar cabs (which I would normally not do) and achieved great results in all applications. I primarily plug it into my Tube Tech MP 2A Tube Preamp, but it sounds great through any good non-tube pre amp as well.
