We wanted a good wireless mic to use with the Nintendo Switch and this was the only decent stage mic that I could find that uses a USB digital signal (all the other USB stage mics I could find use the USB for power only so they would not work). I was very pleased to find that this works flawlessly with the Karaoke program Joysound on the Nintendo Switch. Great sound and basically plug and play to use. I suspect this mic should work with any console and game that requires a standard USB mic (except the original Wii).

Yo lo uso para dar charlas y conferencias y va muy bien como plug and play. No lo he usado como uso profesional, solo para hablar por skype.

It works OK. You have to hold it right up to your mouth. With mics you usually get what you pay for, but all-in-all, I’m pleased with this mic. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money and want something that works good enough for social media videos, this mic will do the job.

I ended up returning mine. I had issues with sound quality. The volume was extremely low on record/playback. Reached out to Samson tech support who were helpful but i could still not get this working. Attempted to set this up on both my desktop PC and mobile phone but the low record volume/playback meant i had to return this.

It was a little finicky to sync up with our sound system at first, but after we worked that out everything has been solid. This is a really nice microphone, and our users greatly appreciate not being tied down with a wire.

THIS MIKE ARRIVED WITH THE CAPSUAL LOOSE IN THE MIKE HEAD. I CALLED SAMSON AND THEY SENT ME OUT A NEW HEAD.. I LIKE THE MIKE A LOT. I HAVE 3 MORE PROFESSIONAL MIKES BY SURE, AND THIS MIKE DOES PRETTY GOOD WITH THEM.

Has descent pickup if you hold it no more than 6″ from you mouth. May be good enough for karaoke but seems a little light in weight(compared to wired mics) to do well enough for live onstage performances. I haven’t judged the distance(rated at 100′) from the receiver to see if this is true. But for small venues where individual voices need to be heard, this will work.

I purchased this mic with the intention of using it as a speaking mic for announcements while I DJ my daughter’s school dance. I use Ableton Live and the plan was to live-monitor the mic so that I could use it and my laptop as a standalone system (instead of having to bring my laptop, audio interface, mixer, separate wireless system, and all the cables associated with such to the gig). At first I had hopes that this would fit the bill, and everything in the description and product documentation seemed to indicate this was the case.
Then I tried it…
When the product arrived, I set it up to work with my computer and DAW. The sound quality seemed fine for what I was hoping to do with it, and getting the thing paired with the computer dongle was easy. But upon further trial, I discovered that there was significant delay between when I would speak into the mic and when the audio would come out of the system. Try talking into a mic and hearing your voice come back to you with ≥ 11ms delay. SO FRUSTRATING! I tried everything to bring the latency down, to no avail.
Although nice on the phone, Samson tech support was no help. They gave several suggestions for me to try, but none of them worked, and their final response to me was that it wasn’t designed to be used live. To which I thought, “What kind of mic isn’t designed to be used live?”
I tried different computers, different DAWs, different driver configurations…. nothing.
I should also mention that I am an audio/media professional, with over 17 years experience. I make my living in music/media, and have extensive background in pro audio and IT. Even after digging deep into settings, drivers, and workarounds, I was still unsuccessful.

Quasi perfetto se non fosse per il volume di registrazione. Il ricevitore è alimentato dal dispositivo, nel mio caso uno smartphone ne consegue che la durata della batteria in fase di registrazione ne risente sia perchè si sta registrando un video sia perchè il telefonino alimenta il ricevitore.
Il volume è basso e il microfono ha un range molto limitato. In pratica se fate un intervista dovete sbatterlo sui denti dell’intervistato… in compenso non sentirete alcun rumore ambientale.
In post produzione potreste eventualmente recuperare ma in diretta siete fregati….
Per il costo vale comunque la pena la stessa alternativa Samson (il Go mic Mobile) costa oltre i 200 € e per la metà se non si hanno molte pretese va bene.
