I use the Sony ECM-77B mic for video chat, webinars, and recording classes. My voice is crystal clear and natural as if I were in the room with someone live. The cord is 10 feet long which makes it easy to run under a shirt or jacket, hidden and out of the way. Sony provides 3 different clips, which is nice, and includes a windscreen that also eliminates explosive “P’s”. Finally, the included case is great for taking the mic on the road. I highly recommend this mic.

I’ve been a long time TRAM fan but never liked how frail those little mics are.The cable is super thin and the edges of the hard plastic case are like a mini guillotine if you don’t pack the mic up perfectly after each use. I honestly love my TRAM mics, but wanted something more robust. This SONY rig is high quality and will likely outlast what’s left of my video career, and the reasonable price point was just icing on the cake. I’ve purchased two ECM77B mics over the last three months and am very glad I did.
