This pop filter works very well! While normal fabric pop screens tend to dull the high end a bit, this doesn’t to that. Worth the money in my opinion.

Great pop screen. It both looks better and sounds better than our previous fabric pop screen. It absolutely delivers on sound quality. I record the same VO artist weekly for an ongoing project and I could notice addition high-end when I swapped in the Stedman. My only cons - significantly higher price that the competition and the goose-neck mount was short... I had to figure out a different mounting point than the last pop-screen.

Professional quality pop filter that diverts rather than diffuses pops. The only downside is that it does not attach easily (i.e. without velcro) to the popular Rode PS1A swivel arm because of the rectangular profile of the PS1A. But the pop filter itself is excellent.

It’s a great pop filter with a strong gooseneck which does not bend or drop due to weight of the filter. Highly recommended.

Sturdy construction with a clever design that actually works! For me, definitely worth the extra cost (compared to cheaper alternatives) to get a pro level pop filter that doesn't 'color' the sound and takes care of plosives very effectively. I'm very particular about the diction that I employ to make sure that every word in my projects (spoken or sung) is easily intelligible. I am making a series of DVDs and CDs (for retirement communities where the residents have varying degrees of hearing impairments) which involve music and the spoken word. The song lyrics need to be heard clearly and the accompanying stories audio/verbal intelligibility is equally as important. This pop filter allows me to create a very 'present' sound that is easily heard and understood with no sonic integrity lost in the process. Very pleased with the Stedman PS101!!

This is one of those rare products that exceeds all my expectations. Sometimes audio equipment is a matter of purchasing something and hoping it solves your problem. The Stedman PS101 outperforms all the nylon pop filters I've ever used and all the other wire mesh pop filters.

The PS101 is well-made and feels like a quality product. The mesh grill is sturdy and doesn't feel like it will bend accidentally. The flexi-arm is strong and doesn't sag like cheaper pop filters I've used. The clamp will fit all standard mic stands and booms.

Where nylon pop filters work by hoping to dissipate the air from plosives, the PS101 works by directing the air downward, away from the microphone. And it works well. If you put your hand below it on the far side and blow into it, you can feel the air being directed downward toward your hand instead of forward.

It improved the quality of my recordings by allowing my plosive-prone vocalist to be closer to the mics. I no longer have to put the mic slightly off-axis in the hope of avoiding direct plosives. I can even get up close to my ribbon microphone, which is *extremely* sensitive to plosives. I previously used two nylon pop filters in sequence and placed the ribbon mic off-axis.

I had hesitated for a couple of months to purchase this, wondering if it was worth the extra $20-25 over the price of regular pop filters. It is and I wish I had pulled the trigger long ago.

The neck is very sturdy! Stays in place for my situation. I have it bent upside down. The pop filter is made out of metal so it redirects air extremely well! When I hold my hand behind the filter and blow air with my mouth on the opposite side. I feel about 5% air pass through verses removing the filter and blowing air straight at my hand. Does a great job at stopping air. And thats an extreme situation if you were blowing air that hard at your microphone. I really like how a metal filter makes your voice sound more open and normal than a cloth filter that makes your voice feel like its muffled.

This filter is all that you could want, and then some. The way it directs air bursts away from the microphone is just crazy, and makes for some incredibly clean audio files. Don't settle for a fabric one, get this. You will not be disappointed!!

Super high quality product. I absolutely love this pop filter. It was the first time I tried one that wasn’t the typical double nylon layers and I’m really glad I did. This one leaves those in the dust. Very thankful to the seller for being so kind to me as well.
