This thing is amazing! I DJ weddings and do audio for TV. I bought a second lav pack and use both lavs for some ceremony’s, then switch to the handheld. Never had an issue with it pairing. Have used the lavs as basketball net mics and they sound great. The flexibility to move the receiver nearer the transmitter with a Cat 5 cable is very convenient but I rarely use it as the range is excellent. And best, especially in the TV application, any dropouts are silence rather than static. If the basket mic takes a hit I’m not likely to even notice. I’ve used the handheld as a TV sideline mic and at church for vocalists and it excels at both. I was skeptical of the frequency range but I’ve never had an issue and no longer have to worry about finding a good frequency…this does it all for me! I have never tried to use it at a very large event with frequency coordination, like an NFL game. Not sure how that would get handled. One minor negative, the battery life isn’t as good as in the Sennheiser analog wireless, I assume because of the constant pairing communication. We have the Sennheiser’s at church and two fresh Duracell’s are good 7-10 hours whereas the System 10 is more like 5-7. I use rechargeables with great success so not a big issue for me, but it might be for some. Overall, I can’t recommend this mic system enough. I’ve used a bunch as a professional audio engineer and this is my favorite wireless mic in this price range by far. Peers have been skeptical (because we all are with something new) but so far everyone who has used it has been converted. One of my favorite tech purchases ever!

For a second annual event with over 400 in-person and 300+ virtual attendees, these combo units failed to deliver. While I chaulked up the prior event to poor receiver placement, my event this past weekend showed no improvement. So far I have purchased a total of 11 of these combo units from various AT vendors and will have to look to replace them all before my next event. Working on putting together actual videos of the speakers having to change their microphones mid-presentation despite optimal receiver placement and fresh batteries, etc…
