Very nice build quality. Complete solution with stand + everything you need. Sounds great (You have to speak right into the mic)

The usb soundcard didn’t work for me, but it works well directly with the computer (using win 10)
Worth the money. Would buy again.

For the price this mic set is a great value, I use it for streaming with obs studio, it does have background noise if not using phantom power, however you can eliminate that using phantom power or using a supression filter in obs to remove that frequency. The build quality was suprisingly good for being so cheap and it looks amazing, I would recommend it to anyone on a budget.

My teens have been asking for a condenser microphone for a few months now. My son wanted one for gaming, and my daughter wanted one for singing and practicing for speech and podcasting. I truly had no idea how this all worked, but now that we have the mic assembled and working I can see why they wanted one.
This mic is really easy to set up. The filtering of outside noise is phenomenal. The voice recording records true voice accurately and clearly. My daughter does theater and speech and debate and I have listened to many bad mics over the years. This is really great.
I took a picture without the pop filter or foam cap so you can see the really great gold color.
This is exactly what we were hoping for, dare I say it even exceeds my expectations for the price.

There’s a lot here in the package, but it’s not all that great. Let’s start with the basics.

The boom arm works well, but there are more solid options. It’s great to start with but the joints don’t tighten well and the slightest bump can send the arm reeling.

The shock mount is fine, I’ve noticed minor reductions in vibrational noise. The joint on this, also, is atrocious. If you don’t keep it tight, the mic will go tipping downward of its own volition. It fits the included microphone well, but is fairly small for my other microphones.

We’ll keep this part short: the USB sound card is absolute garbage. You’re better off not even plugging it in.

The XLR to 3.5mm is pretty useless since the sound card is very bad. I’d recommend a regular XLR cord since you’ll need an audio interface to use the included microphone anyway, which brings me to the final item in the box…

    The microphone.

The microphone itself is fairly all right. The audio quality (with an audio interface and XLR cord) is pretty clear. The microphone doesn’t capture all ranges well, but not every mic will. If you’re using the microphone as advertised, podcasting, streaming, gaming, etc., this is a great option. For music and vocals you can get away with using it, but it’s going to need some cleaning up in an audio editor.

In conclusion this is a great option for starting out recording anything. Everything you need is in the box, but it unfortunately doesn’t all work as well as one would hope. You can tolerate the issues with the shock mount and boom arm, but the USB sound card really sours the whole package. If you don’t have another option to plug in the mic, you’re likely going to have to order another product or two. Once you get past this extremely high hurdle, the boom, mount, and microphone are good for their introductory value.

I recommend the product for the value alone. If you’re on a budget, the additional items that come with the microphone are worth it. A cheap audio interface (with good reviews) and an XLR cord will get you the rest of the way if you’re interested in starting a podcast, stream, etc.

Uploaded a video so you can hear the audio quality. This mic is way underpriced for it’s performance. First thing you need to do is get a USB audio interface that provides phantom power, or a phantom power injector. This a entry level studio mic product that needs that power source to function properly. There are Inexpensive USB mixer/audio interfaces that perform well and will even allow you to feed in another audio source with the mic. This is GREAT for those wishing to record or stream! I’ve performed blind tests with mic costing triple this set’s price with listeners unable to determine which was the $150 and which was $30.

Do yourself a favor and watch the attached video to hear the sound for yourself. My wife was standing behind me and about a foot away from the mic. Foam screen is installed at the time.

I’ve purchased a 2nd one too. The stand, and accessories are just gravy on top of an already great deal.

As others have stated….YOU NEED PHANTOM POWER. I got this kit as an Amazon day deal for less than 20. The Mic works great and the extension arm works great…however….the USB interface is cheap and is not appropriate for this type of microphone. the USB adapter does work fine with dynamic mics but it does not power condenser mics correctly so no signal if used as is. I have the “Just Mixer M” by Marker Hart to provide the mic with 1.5v of phantom power and with this setup it works perfectly (48v over powered the mic and introduced too much background noise). If connected correctly the mic provides great sound and well worth the price for what you get included. Just be sure to get an audio interface that can provide phantom power. This kit is well worth the money when on sale.
Only 4 stars because the included USB port does not power the mic.

Extremely disappointed, i bought this for school and its complete garbage. Not only was this 3 days late. But when it got here it is incapable of working as advertised. I first tried it on my MacBook pro m1 and unless you are literally screaming with everything turned all the way up you can’t hear anything. I tested it is the voice memo app and FCP and it won’t even record. Tried it in Google duo and even when your not talking it produces the most hideous screech. Zoom you have to yell to be able to be heard and you get a screech. The screech comes from the sound card. So I tried it on windows. Windows won’t work no matter what you do. I tried it in tons of different apps and nothing worked. Do not buy this save yourself the heart ache.
