I love my Behringer X32 Producer. It has all the I/O support I need for my home studio and I absolutely love the wireless remote app for my iPad. Sound quality is excellent and the built in effects are genius. I was able to remove (4) mic preamps and compressors. The amount of videos and support are second to none.

excellent article. I have the behringer x32 and buy the x32 producer for better comfort in small events. I bought it as used but definitely this mixer was completely new without use. Only the box was a bit mistreated but for the price I paid, it was definitely the best purchase I’ve made. I acquired a new item for less price. very happy

I took the plunge and moved up from an old Firewire connected analog mixer to this one because I need 16 channel mixing and recording, and USB connection for playing virtual instruments live (using Jam Origin Guitar to Midi software). I’m a pretty technical guy, but the complexity of the software and interface left me feeling like my head was about to explode! The firmware revisions and improvements have totally outpaced any documentation that comes with the mixer. OK, so that’s the bad news. But the good news is that there are some great tutorials. In particular check out the ones by Drew Bashier on Youtube. They are just brilliant. Without his videos, this mixer would have been returned, no doubt in my mind. As it is, after literally weeks of playing around, and working along with the videos, I now have got the hang of most of it, and indeed, the mixer is just phenomenal. The latency is pretty darned good. I get good performance with about 4.5ms one way (so less than 10ms round trip), which I need for the Guitar to Midi app. What I love is the ability to record the band tracks individually during practice, then playback the separate tracks together as recorded to check the mix. From there I can tweak the individual instrument/vocal mix levels, so that everything sounds good, and then when we get to the gig, the mix is set. No need for a sound guy. I love being able to store each different mix so that at the push of a button, restore the mix from a previous gig. I combine the X32 Producer with a Behringer i3000 power amp in a custom made lightweight Aluminum frame and the total rig weighs under 35lbs. The individual EQ and Compressors on each channel are great. This is a 5 star mixer, let down by feeble documentation, but take the time to get to know it, using Drew Bashier’s Youtube tutorials and it really is worth the effort.
