This is a great little kick drum mic for a variety of venues. It gets a great sound for a decent price point.I would recommend it highly.

I gave this mic it’s first test run this weekend in a live performance. This mic sounds great with a good quality kick drum. Just as good sound as some more expensive mics. Good solid construction too. The cable they send with it is made we’ll also. It will be my go to from here on.

Great mic that can turn the crappiest kick drum into a deep, thundering joy to hear! I love it!! And it’s affordable. Another plus!

Picks up low end easy. Placed 3″ from head offset from beater is perfect. Plenty of punch, and low end. Do not increase low mix to much or things get muddy. Solid Mic.

There is some difference between this and the real deal b52. But even the most cursory EQ will erase that difference. Maybe ten minutes worth of fiddling and you can consider that cost difference “pocketed”.

I have been using this for cojon for live worship at my church and it works great. That stage area is very reverby and feedbacks a lot but I was able to get a lot of gain out of this since I’m using digital mixer. Build quality is also good. Bought this for 10k.
    Great product all around.

The 52 is the industry standard, if you want your kick drum to be out front and fat, you must have this microphone!

I was using just a regular vocal microphone to mic my bass drum. It sounded okay, but there is no comparison with having a real bass drum mic. I was going to buy a cheap one, but I’m glad I decided to spend the extra money and order this. Well worth it!

I use this for recording tuba as well as miking bass amps. The sound quality is fantastic, and it feels super sturdy. I’ve had no issues with it after several months of use. If this is the kind of mic you’re looking for, this is a fantastic option! Would absolutely recommend for recording anything low or bassy.
