My husband just loves it. I can’t get him to stop playing it everyday so loud. I can’t hear my tv. Best buy for the price.

Not a great stereo.First the positive. Maybe the only positive. The bluetooth works great. It is a little hard to get it to connect but it works. I have moved my phone some distance away from the unit both inside and outside the house and it never lost connection.
Now the bad. Will not pick up radio stations! Worst radio I have ever seen. I even bought a big FM antenna here on Amazon to try to get better signal, but it was just no use. I have never seen anything like it. Tried everything I can think of, but I just can’t get the stations I regularly listen to with very few exceptions. I might return this unit, but I do like the bluetooth feature. Will try to find a better unit, but I know I will have to pay more for it than I payed for this one.The other reviewers are right about the display. Instruction book is useless.Still don’t know how to set the station memory, but I guess it doesn’t matter since it picks up very few stations clear anyway.

I bought this for my back patio area so that I can listen to Pandora on my Samsung Galaxy 5. It took a little while for my phone to detect the blue tooth on this receiver, but once it did, it works fine. The sound (outside) is acceptable and because it cost so little, if it ruins in the weather I can just throw it away and buy another one. The only issue I have is trying to disconnect from blue tooth if I get a call on my phone. It just doesn’t want to let go unless you just turn the receiver completely off. Minor issue as long as you know what needs to be done. Would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a low cost BT receiver.

There are some things I really like about this unit. It’s got connections for 4 speakers, the sound is pretty good and I have not heard any buzzing or noise that sometimes people claim Pyle units have. The Bluetooth seems to work fine and its a nice option. You only get about RMS 25 watts a speaker, but for my purposes that’s just fine.

My complaint about this unit is purely about the display. A lot of people complain about the blue selection LEDs at the bottom (they are a little bright) but the real thing that bugs me is the graphic sound by frequency graph. It’s upside down! The sound bars come from the top down when the music plays. You might argue that maybe Pyle was just being innovative when they created this and were trying to do something a little different, but the volume label on the left side is labeled as you might expect with the 0 db at the bottom and then moving upward.

I can only guess that when then added the Bluetooth to this unit they also redid the graphics, screwed it up and never tested it!

When the unit is in Bluetooth mode the graphics are a bit odd. Every 15 seconds or so the graphics on the unit change from the letters “BT” to something that looks like snake running back and forth across the display. I wondered it this is supposed to be the unit indicating its searching for the Bluetooth signal, but it does it even after a connection has been established and the music is playing. (While it does this the upside down sound graph disappears too).

There are a couple of other things. The on/off is a hard switch, you can’t do that from the remote control. Not a big problem for me, but I can see that other people might be disappointed with that. Also every time you switch it on you need to tell it what input you want, it doesn’t remember the last setting.

If the display were working right I would have given this unit a 4 or maybe even a 5 star. As it is I decided to keep it, rather than boxing it up and sending it back. It plays music just fine for me and it was less than $100.

This receiver was everything I was looking for! The sound quality and ease of operation was great. I use it as the head unit for my whole house sound pushing eight Pyle PDIC60 In-Wall / In-Ceiling Dual 6.5-Inch Speakers. Everyone that comes in says, “It’s party time!”

EDIT 12/3/15 – Bluetooth doesn’t work. I haven’t touched it other than to turn it on and off, it now doesn’t connect with anything bluetooth. I have no idea how to fix or troubleshoot as the manual is very basic. I use it 100% bluetooth through my house now I can’t use it. Very disappointed and apparently I can’t exchange it anymore.

Works well. I have left my phone in each of the rooms in our 2-story house and never lose signal. The recevier is in the top shelf of our pantry and powers 4 in ceiling speakers. The quality it provides is more than adequate for what I was looking for. The only issue I have is that the remote has no on/off button and is literally line of site. I can’t get it to work without being literally 1′ away from the front. It is useless. I wasn’t planning on displaying the unit and still do not want to so I will have to manually press the buttons should I ever need to. The bluetooth pairing works very easily.

So far, so good, just received my PT265BT today! Bought this amplifier to play the Stingray Karaoke App on AT&T Uverse, love the front display and love that it comes with a remote to control everything! Can’t wait to hear the songs on my phone through the bluetooth!! I shopped around and this is the best amplifier out there with bluetooth for such a low price!!
