I purchased this replacement over-the-ear mic along with its clip-on lav counterpart for use with the AT3000 series transmitters/receivers in a 1,000 seat sanctuary.

Performance is on par with the original AT components, but the design is better. The original AT over-the-ear still works, but the rubber earpiece had become stained and torn. This item is designed without the rubber, so I expect it should last better. Even without the rubber it is just as comfortable.

The best part may well be the price. The replacement AT part is very expensive by comparison and simply not worth it.

The mic comes with a hard case, two wire clips and two windscreens.

As a pro AV integrator that works with churches, to say I was skeptical about this microphone is an understatement. However, I took a chance on it after being introduced to it by a client and I’ve never looked back. At least as durable as the OEM product, it’s actually a bit easier to use and adjust, being much closer to a Countryman style, form and fit, but at a fraction of the cost. In the field, we are seeing 3-4 years of service before needing a replacement, which for the money is amazing.

Good sound and conectivity. Is thinner than original cord though. Works great so far.

After many attempts to find the right mic for our pastor we finally did! We spent hundreds on AT mics and Countryman as well. Nothing has better output, frequency response and feedback rejection than this. Although this mic is omnidirectional it still does better than all the others. I will be purchasing more as needed!

I use this to lead Sunday worship, mostly speaking and a little singing. The sound quality is excellent. People in the pew and our sound tech have commented that the clarity is much sharper than the unit that this replaced. The wrap-around ear piece is irritating in that it doesn’t remain steadily in place. I perspire heavily and as a result it moves and shifts during the church service. Seriously annoying.

Needed to replace an Audio Technica mic very quickly. At the time all were backordered for most sources. This was considerably less, shipped quickly, and is doing the job pretty well a month in.

It lasted me a year. Audio technica brand lasted me a little more than a year.
Not a bad product. Just doesn’t last long.
