I’ve read some other reviews saying this amp is no good, well I think they must have a problem with their hook up. It’s not that noisy you have to expect a little hum but again I think it’s a problem with their hook up to the speakers and other things they may have on the amp that they say it’s noisy, to me it is not and I use it at home.

This amp though it’s not a 700 watt as advertised, even in the booklet it says 100 watt, this unit does push big sound. I have two Podium Pro 1200 C speakers (500 watts rms per pair & 1000 watts max per pair at 8 ohms) , and this amp handles them just fine. I use it combined with my Cavs 203G usb karaoke player works great.

Quality control is bad, had to return twice and go with a different brand kept making pop sounds and it was because of the amp

This was bought 2nd time. It was for a home karaoke system. Just add a pair of speakers and microphones to a smart TV then off singing YouTube karaoke songs. For me tuning those knobs to suit voices is no problem.
This mixer amplifier is affordable and works effectively for its purpose.

I purchased this item in good faith based off of the reviews and I am HIGHLY disappointed!!! I have it in my salon where my clients & I keep hearing a crackling and popping noise. It’s the amp!! This is a low quality product at an expensive price!! Don’t waste your money because you will be thoroughly upset!!! The sound quality wouldn’t be so bad if the popping sound wasn’t every 5mins!!! Shop around before you purchase a similar product but DEFINITELY don’t waste your hard earned money on this one!!

So, I have a full Karaoke system at home. Still, like most, I always got the dreaded feedback issue with the wireless mic walking around and trying to make sure that the mic was balanced with the music and that the vocals sounded good, and that the music sounded good. It works, but it was a hassle. Fast forward to when I bought this. I moved forward and just wanted to separate the mic from the music. This does the trick—enough power to drive the speakers for the mic and all the vocal control separately. Now I can play from whatever source, have the music dialed in perfectly, and the vocals won’t change.

I should have done this a long time ago.

Before I bought this one, there are so few customer review samples outside there. Good and bad rating were half and half. I was really worried about the qualities after reading the reviews. I contacted seller and got responsive reply so I bought it. Here is my review.

External: Good build qualify. Solid steel case with convenient handle which also protect the panel various buttons. Plastic panel is protected by film and stick solid without problem.

Power Output: The power output listed in user manual is maximum 120W/channel, but I think the power is much more than enough as home used amplifier although I don’t know if it has peak 700 watt as the title. Compared to my Sony DH740 with 145W x 7, EMB Pro’s power output in each channel is much more powerful. So maybe the title is correct. Some earlier reviews complained the power is very small and almost no sound. It is probably due to a feature of this machine becoming a trap. There is a volume reset to zero when power on function, which is on by default. So if you preset the volume and move to stage before the performance, the volume will reset to zero when you power it on. A switch behind for this can set the feature to off. I was trapped by this in the beginning.

AC Noise: AC noise is my another concern for some low end amplifier from my past experience of building audio amplifier myself. This one is clean. But here is another trap. Because it is built as steel case including the panel, a 3 prong power cable is used in contrast to normal 2 prong power cord used in consumer amplifier. This design has no problem but a risk of ground loop can be built up when you construct your audio system which will introduce significant AC noise. In my case, my desktop with 3 prong power was built into my audio system thus formed ground loop with this new amplifier and introduced big AC noise in the beginning. With a fake ground connector added, ground loop is removed and noise is got rid of. This is absolutely not the product issue but your system building attentions.

Fan noise: No, probably no fan is used although the hole looks like a fan. I did not stare in to check because it does not bother me at all.

Sound qualify: Very good, no distortion. Three band equalizers work very well. Vocal delay/repeat works very well although delay amount looks in reversed direction but is really minor issue. You can adjust vocal equalizer and different delay band to realize the best singing result in very precise degree. This is the major reason people need this type machine in additional to 7.2 amp. Tone up/down function works but no good result. This is the only bad point I noticed in this product. The tone change processing result is bad although you can still sing with it. Fortunately this is not a big issue due to first tone change is rarely used function in normal Karaoke singing, and 2nd almost all Karaoke source has tone up/done functions which is a cleaner way to do in digital domain before it is converted into analog signal making it much harder.

The master volume and music volume are all control line level. The design is supposed to be music volume controls line level and master volume controls the power amp output without affecting line output. But they are both affecting the line output level. I connect the line output to my 7.2 amp and hope the master volume in both amp can control independently to change power ratio of them. But I can only change 7.2 amp volume to change the power ration as this limitation. A minor cons.

This product has everything I needed except for Bluetooth capability, even though it was advertised as such. I did not test the equipment because I did not want to get more upset. Bluetooth is the main reason I am upgrading my current amplifier, therefore, I can not recommend this product> It is very similar to my current amp and I really like my current amp but due to changing technology, I am needing to upgrade. I found another amp that I already purchased here on Amazon; I will update this review once I test that one . . .
