The Razer Seiren X is a top-notch microphone designed for gamers and streamers. With crystal-clear audio quality, a compact build, and easy plug-and-play setup, it’s an excellent choice for content creators. However, its unidirectional pickup and limited accessories may not suit all users. Overall, the Seiren X is a valuable addition to enhance your gaming and streaming experience.

The Razer Seiren X Microphone is a solid choice for gamers and streamers. It excels in many areas, but there are a few drawbacks to consider.

Pros:

  • Crystal-clear Audio: The Seiren X’s microphone delivers exceptional sound quality, ensuring your voice is heard loud and clear during gaming and streaming sessions.
  • Compact Design: Its sleek and compact design takes up minimal desk space, making it a practical addition to your setup.

In Conclusion:

I use this mic when gaming with my friends. So far, I have really enjoyed this product!Pros:My friends can hear me well and understand me clearly, meaning the mic is picking me up accurately. My friends have reported that they hear no static coming through which makes for a more enjoyable experience for everyone, not just for me!Con:I wish I was able to turn the mic sideways instead of having it straight up! Would be nice if you had the ability to make the mic fit your space needs!Overall, great product!

I found this at an amazing price and it outperforms any microphone I’ve used in the past. Setup was simple and it doesn’t take up much space on my desk. I also enjoy the green/red mute button on the device itself as it can be frustrating to find the mute button on a program. I’ve yet to have a bad experience with a Razer product.

I have been using the Razer Seiren X for 3 years now, in terms of quality, it is a great microphone. It comes with a durable stand and assembly. But, thats about where the good stuff ends. The quality of the microphone detiorates over time, every time you pull the mini-usb out of the microphone, it damages the port more and more and eventually the microphone begins to reconnect several times in a matter of seconds whenever you touch the cable, and not only all this, whenever this microphone reconnects it lags your computer. God forbid if your playing a game it can even cause a crash. Overall, a good mic for the first year, but after that it is just hell. I do not recommend this microphone if you are planning to use it for a long period of time.

I bought it just for making calls on discord or facebooks calls. My friends stated it sound better than using the web cam microphone. It doesn’t have a lot bells and whistle compared to yeti, but it’s not bad mic when it’s one sale for $50I like that there’s dial to adjust how loud mic is and headphone jack option listen to yourself talk. This microphone meets my needs, since I don’t do studio recording and I don’t plan on it.It only directional microphone and not omni directional or 360 view type of hearing, which is fine, since I don’t need those extra features. One of my friends over $100 on yeti mic for more bells and whistle now he has buyer remorse since he dosen’t use any of the bells and whistle during our conversation when I using the microphone. This guy only use yeti for phone calls only nothing else.

[Full disclosure, I did not pay full price for this item, and would perhaps be more demanding of it if I had.]I’ve used a lot of microphones over the past 25 years or so, of varying degrees of quality. And while I would not necessarily call this a “professional” microphone, it’s as close as I’ve seen among USB mics in this price range. (Or at least the price I paid.) The last time I owned a microphone as responsive and accurate as this one, its price was in the triple digits. I’ve also not tried the Blue mics in the 40-60 price range, so I don’t know how this compares to them, positively or negatively. But the quality I’m able to get from this is impressive. My biggest issue with it, in fact, is that the plugs are between the base and the underside of the mic portion, which leaves very little wiggle room, literally, for cords. In fact, the headphone cord I use has a large endcap that barely fits in the space between the mic and the base. I have to tilt the base to even plug it in. (If your plug is smaller/narrower, it might not be an issue.) Also the USB cord that came with the mic is, on mine at least, a little wiggly, and about 3-4% of the time wiggles just enough to cut the power/sound from the mic. Not enough to make me return it, but enough to mention it in the review. And to be fair, this is mostly because I move it around quite often for various reasons, so if it remains stationary on your desk, it might never be an issue for you.On the positive side, one of its best features is the built-in monitoring, which allows you to immediately hear yourself without an echo, which is a problem I often ran into with other microphones, unless I resorted to either a hardware mixer or a fancier mic like a ZOOM. You’ll have to fiddle with the knob on front to get it where you want — I tend to leave it cranked up so I can better hear how my voice is, but this has the unfortunate side effect of picking up everything in the surrounding area. But this is a known side effect of supercardioid mics, and is not a point against this one.Overall I’ve been happy with it, have more than gotten my sixty bucks’ worth from it, and hope to have it for some time. If it dies before the year is out I may need to revise my reviews, but for now it is going strong. If I could give it 4 and a half stars, I would, but I can’t, and it’s not a perfect 5, so 4 it is.

This mic isolates vocals from outside noise surprisingly well and records more audio with an above average fidelity. Has a passthrough jack to monitor your voice as you play/record. Very pleased with this product. Would have given it a 5 star if the entire chasis was a nice matte metal casing instead. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great mic.

Really good microphone in my opinion. It is quite good in my opinion giving a good clear voice when you’re gaming, chatting, or even usable for work. It picks up sound pretty darn easily so your background noise even through walls can be heard potentially depending on the thickness of your walls. Regardless the reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is due to the fact the cord that connects to the microphone is really loose and doesn’t stay in well causing disconnection issues.

Good microphone. 1 issue.I’ve had this microphone for a long time, I’ve noticed that it has a lot of static issues coming through the mic and the wire for the mic has terrible issues staying connected to the mic it unplugs itself if I slightly nudge it but it will still say it’s connected. A good microphone for razer so I would recommend still.

Razer never disappoints! Great professional grade microphoneBuilt-In background noise reduction, built-In shock mount and zero latency monitoring. Captures voice quite well while negating most background/floor noise, the build quality is great as always from all Razer products. Comes with an attachment to mount it onto a boom arm, stand is amazing and barely moves.
