I’m a PE teacher and this headset is amazing! I’m able to project my voice in a large gym with a big echo and kids can hear me fine without me having to raise my voice and I’m able to run and play the activity of the day without ever having static or disruption. Best to hook the receiver to a good quality speaker!! But I’m very happy. I use rechargeable batteries for it. I teach all day, everyday and the batteries last a week. Just have a set pre-charged and you’re good to go.

I’m a retired fitness director and group fitness instructor and am now teaching at several locations so I needed my own blue tooth speaker and wireless mic system. I have used this one for many, many years at the clubs I managed and found it to be superior. The headset is the heavy duty one which you’ll need especially if being used by different instructors. I purchased Shure model # BLX14/SM31-J11 wireless headset to connect to my Anker blue tooth speaker. It does not come with the XLR Female to 1/4 Inch TS Cable so be sure to order one ($11.99 on Amazon for the six foot length cable). It comes in four lengths. I called Shure tech. support and they told me I would need to purchase it separately. Just copy and paste in Amazon: Nylon Braided XLR 3 Pin Female to 6.35mm TS Male Unbalanced Interconnect Wire Mic Cord for Dynamic Microphone (Pure Copper Conductors). It’s much cheaper on Amazon vs. the Shure website.

This device sounds as good, if not better, than any of my stationary Audio-Technica or other Shure mics. Battery life isn’t anything game-changing, but I did 2 gigs (about 6 hours) on a single battery, so that’s not bad, and they’re simple AA batteries, so cheap to get/replace. I haven’t tested how far the range is, since I’m typically pretty close to the receiver, but I’ve never experienced even the slightest latency or sound-fidelity loss in distancing myself from the receiver. The headset is comfortable and has no issues with my rather clammy head after several hours of performing. Great product!

Wow! This wireless microphone did exactly what I needed for my outdoor yoga class and more. Easy to set up, clear, crisp sound and at times, I forgot I had in on as it was very comfortable to wear. During an intensive part of my class, I could easily turn the micro away from my mouth to lessen my breathing sounds. It is worth the price ten times over. After much research, I am very happy with this purchase.

This system coupled with the spandex belt transmitter holder works great for my line dance class. I don’t have to yell out the steps – just normal speech gets the job done – so I’m less exhausted after teaching. The system performs flawlessly. I have purchased extra foam wind screens to put on the microphone for other instructors. The Zumba instructor uses it before my class and she no longer has to shout (but she does anyway.) The mic is hyper-cardioid and consequently is very resistant to feedback. I have been able to make if feedback by standing directly in front of the speakers – not recommended. The batteries last about 6 hours, so I use rechargeable batteries and keep a couple of spares with me. The quality of the sound is amazing probably due to the fact that it is a condenser microphone. The receiver is compatible with the hand-held SM58 style Shure wireless microphones, so I’m planning to get one of those to use for karaoke.

I’m a street performer in Santa Monica (more about me at dancindave.rocks) and I sing and dance top 40 using the Shure BLX 14/SM31-H9 wireless headset. My dancing is vigorous and athletic and I jump around a lot and execute martial arts moves as well. The Shure BLX is a fantastic microphone. I am completely independent and no I didn’t submit this review for any form of compensation. I have never owned a Shure before so I was impressed with the quality. The Shure stays in place when I move around and the sound quality is astounding. It allows me to sing softly and still be heard clearly which is important because I often do 4 – 6 hours of shows per day and so I don’t get as tired and my voice lasts longer with it. Usually, I can do my show and never even have to think about the mic which is great. I strongly recommend it for musicians as well as aerobics instructors.

We brought this product for our religious organization to replace an existing one by the same company of similar build. Make sure you get the one with the right frequency you could check the company’s website to make sure there is no interference from TV channels. It was pretty much plug and Play for us and works well.

High quality mic headset.Additional : (After 2 months of using it) Capturing my voice very well. The output is fantastic you don’t have to raise your voice at all. The range in which the headset can be apart from its receiver is also very good. Simply put, I don’t need to worry about my voice getting loss in a gym no matter where I go.Fit and finish is also excellent. The headset is not too tight for my head so I don’t feel it squeezing my head at all. The headset is light and it is moist-tollerated so no problems with sweat whatsoever. I can do Boxing or Burpees without the need to worry it will fail me.
