Myself and another instructor bought this mic set from Pro Acoustics in 2013 and paid over $1000.00. I loved the mic but in just over one year the headset broke.Shortly after the receiver (box) stopped working as well. I contacted Pro Acoustics and they said I needed to contact Special Projects. I contacted Special Projects and shipped them my headset and box. They fixed my headset for a sizable fee. I emailed and called and asked for an explanation of the charges, the invoice made no sense, and no one would reply back to me. I was also informed that my box could not be fixed and I would have to buy a new one. I explained that it was just over one year old and could they at least discount the price of a new box. The answer was no. I tried to get in touch with the owner, left several messages and sent emails, he never replied once. I used another instructors box and continued to use my repaired headset even though it never fit correctly after the repair. About one year after having the headset fixed it stopped working again. This time I went to a local repair shop and they said they had to send it to Special Projects. Special Projects emailed me an estimate stating it would be about $600.00 to repair and replace the system. While this was going on the instructor I bought the mic with headset broke too. Our stereo and system as already set up for this system/mic so painfully we bought this again BUT we were able to purchase insurance on Amazon! Special Projects has the worse customer service that I have ever encountered. The owner should be ashamed of the way he personally responds to customers. It is no wonder that the staff is unresponsive as well. If you buy this mic you must buy the insurance because Special Projects will not cover anything over a year and these are not made to last.

THIS SYSTEM ONLY WORKS WITH 1 MIC AT A TIME! YOU CANNOT USE BOTH MICS AT THE SAME TIME WITH THIS “KIT”.Unfortunately, at this time only the low end audio companies make head mics without a belt packs. Of all the low end audio companies that make head mics without belt packs, this is company makes one of the better options.I cannot wait for the day when real audio companies decide to make head mics without belt packs. Companies like Shure, Senheiser, Lectrosonic
