I’ve been using it for about a week now and so far I’m very pleased. I’m using it for home music recording with Pro Tools, bass, drums, guitars and vocals, etc. The unit is Lightweight, compact and the build feels solid so taking it with you isn’t a problem. The preamps sound great! Very clean and crisp with a lot of headroom. My other unit is the Mbox Pro 8×8, which I love, but I’d say the Presonus Preamps are brighter. I’m also a fan of the input level meter on the front panel. Headphone amp sounds very good, but you only get one like most of these interfaces, so if you plan on recording multiple tracks at once I’d recommend a headphone amp. Other than that, I think it’s a solid, straightforward audio interface with excellent preamps and I would highly recommend it.

It is working as I had hoped. No complaints and happy with the extra inputs.

If you are looking for a connection with your ipad, this unit will not work…you need the Audiobox unit instead.

Purchased this to upgrade my studio and move my existing unit to play as backup. This works great though and hope I never have to use my backup. The added loop features as well as the 4 mic ports give me the flexibility I need in my small, multi-station studio. I have to dial up the gain a little more than my old unit, but still very happy with it.

Unfortunately I got the product without the sound card definitions and without Studio 1 but overall the card is very good

If you’ll look closely, you’ll see that the headphone volume control goes to 11. Most blokes, they’ll be playing and playing and their headphone jacks are turned up to 10 and they want to go louder, what do they do? Nothing! Exactly! That’s why THESE headphone controls go to 11. That way, if we need that little extra….

I have been a long time fan and supporter of Presonus. Ever since they launched years ago I was looking for a reason to escape from Protools (I’m now using Studio One V3) . I have 2 Audio Box USB’s for home use, 2 Fire Studio Projects (16 channel interface) and now this. This will be my mobile rig to record guitars since I work with various artists and collaborate on lots of different songs.

I’ll have 2 to 3 instrument mics on the cabinets and 1 room Mic (Condenser) to capture the best sound possible. VERY VERY happy and pleased with this unit. GREAT job Presonus. I don’t know anyone at this company and I wasn’t paid to write this. Just a VERY happy customer of Presonus products. Affordable, quality products.

Best audio interface for home and small studio. Totally worth it.

Great value. At the end of the day when you have a good guitar, good computer, good software and good monitors you just want a good audio interface. It was a great feeling to play the guitar and have such great clarity coming through. At the end of the day, this is a pretty economical option and the quality is there. I think beyond this you’ll see quickly diminishing returns.

I purchased this Studio 68 to replace my 3rd generation Avid Mbox which will not work with my new Windows 10 system. Now that I have this brand new Presonus 68 I find out that this will not work with Pro Tools. I have contacted Presonus and was advised that if the Studio 68 works with their Studio One software (which it does) that the problem is in using the device with Pro Tools. Presonus needs to include this info in the product description.. This does not work with Pro Tools!! Beware before purchasing…..
