It does a wonder job of blocking out surrounding noise with little reverb. It’s a little on the bassy side, but it has a high pass filter switch to cut back on the bass. It’s better for very small enclosed spaces than the 416. It’s super sensitive so you need to be at least 18 inches away and slightly off axis.

What a great sounding mic! This mic makes post-production clean-up/mixing so much easier. I’d highly recommend picking it up if you need something with a flat frequency response for interviews or foley work! Also, this little guy has been used on such Hollywood Film/TV productions as The Social Network, The Dark Knight, and AMC’s Breaking Bad. I love it! I’m considering buying another one.

I own a ton of mics in various price ranges and this mic is close to the best sounding mic I’ve ever use. It’s crazy light, but plenty solid. It comes with a great shock mount. I’m not going to get into specs or technical stuff. I’ll just say that with no EQ or compression I loved the sound of this mic for my voice in my studio. It does a fine job of rejecting noise from the environment, and better than most mics I’ve used.

Not sure, if it is a genuine product. Contacted the seller for support, but was told to contact the manufacturer. Not a good experience.
Not sounding a Sennheiser MKH 50. So sad.
