Very good product for a Karaoke system. It has individual knob for each mic so you have a lot of flexibility. My family like this one a lot.

Had it for about half an year and used for about 6 times, now the mixer produces a hissing sound to the speaker when voice is high. Initially I thought it was my speakers or main mixer’s fault. Changed speakers and main mixer, the problem was not there. If I don’t connect this karaoke mixer, directly connect music sound to the speakers and main mixer, the problem is not there. That tells me that it is this karaoke mixer producing the exposive hissing sound. Not happy given it becomes faulty in half an year. Had to change the rating. You should go to look for another product for good. Not reliable.

Great little unit. Sounds great the effects are probably the best out any karaoke mixer. The only issue is there is no balanced outputs. In order to use this unit with my powered mackies i had to use a unbalanced to balance converter. I use ART cleanbox pro.

I have this for many years now, my overall karaoke sound system got many compliments from friends. A few friends have high end audio equipments,
But sounds not as good. I thought it could be due to many factors, room acoustics, sub, speakers… but yesterday I brought the karaoke equipment to setup for another room, first without this unit.
It did not sound good without it. Then I hook the vocolpro DA1000 back, what a tremendous difference!
A must have if singing karaoke
Thinking to purchase a second one, but search for same brand, perhaps a higher end, to take advantage of new technology

Let me just start off by saying: For the money, it is pretty good. I was trying to decide on the rating to give it, given the price, it might be worth five stars. I was used to a yamaha mixer, which was really good, but realized that I paid alot more for the yamaha. Overall, the DA1000 does everything it claims to do, but I think the main thing people have to realize is the the vocal canceller is for karaoke multiplex discs only. If you are not spending top dollar for your system, I would say it’s well worth the money.

I am very please with this item. It is easy to connect from computer to amp being all my karaoke songs are on my computer and I use my laptop and a flat screen tv and a amp. The mixer produces great mic sound for home use. I use it at my family reunion and it was a hit. I highly recommend this for light to medium use. Produces great sound and with individual mic control and seperate music and voice volumn knobs you can’t beat it. The voice cancel don’t work as good but overall very good unit for the price.

I’d been researching a new mixer for a while now that I’ve moved (due to a life transition and no longer had my big stereo system and previous karaoke setup.) I now have a Samsung TV and soundbar (with a modest subwoofer) and a laptop as my tools to work with. For simplicity, I had hoped to try a small full HDMI solution this time, but the product I tried first (Acesonic KM-201) was complete crap. Poor sound quality and a very noticeable vocal delay. I sent it back and did a bit more research. I chose the vocaPro because of positive reviews, relatively small form factor, and just the right amount of features. I am pleased to say it is performing perfectly and was a breeze to setup. I’m running HDMI from the laptop to the TV (but disabled HDMI audio in Windows to only using the video portion for the YouTube karaoke videos) I then run audio from the headphone out jack of the laptop to the VocaPro RCA input, and then another RCA cable to the auxiliary input on my soundbar. If anybody in indecisive as I was, rest assured this will work as advertised.

I used this sound mixer for karaoke for the kids at a party. It had great features including the ability to turn down the mics enough when things were getting crazy. We just had the kids sing over youtube music videos or karaoke videos coming in from a laptop and that worked perfectly! The amount of options we had at adjusting both the inputs coming in (mic and laptop) was exactly what I needed. I’m not a pro or an audiophile but I can say the sound was great, features useful, and everyone at the party were impressed with how well it was mixing both mics and the videos.
If you are looking to setup a makeshift karaoke in your house:
I had a laptop that could play youtube karaoke songs and a speaker bar with the stereo RCA cables going out (white and red). With the following I was able to put together a nice karaoke station:
The mics –
Audio 2000s AWM6074U Dual Channel UHF Wireless Microphone System with Two Handhelds
a sound mixer –
VocoPro DA-1000 Pro Professional 3 Mic Digital Echo Mixer
a 3.5 to rca wire (to connect the laptop to the sound bar)-
Cable Matters 3.5mm to 2RCA Stereo Audio Cable 3 Feet in White
rca to rca (to connect the soudn mixer with the sound bar) –
iMBAPrice® 3 feet 2RCA Male to 2RCA Male High Quality Home Theater Audio Cable (3 Feet, Black)
TRS to TRS (to connect the mics to the sound mixer) –
Hosa Cable CSS105 TRS to TRS Interconnect Cables – 5 Foot

This product works just as expected. I have been using this for a year now and have not ran into any issues. It has all the basic functionality you need to get karaoke working at home. I needed this to hook up karaoke music from my computer and external microphone (GTD Audio G-622H 200 from Amazon) into this device to a surround sound receiver (Onkyo HT-S8409 7.1-Channel Network A/V Receiver).
The sound quality is good, latency is super low which is why mixing using a computer is not an option for real karaoke. The light on the front bezel gives a cool/expensive look the product. The product only includes a single audio wire. You will likely need to purchase additional wires for your own setup.
The price is a bit high but I guess that is normal since most consumers would never purchase this.
